Abstract

This study compares the healthcare delivery models in Pakistan, focusing on the government and private sectors. The healthcare system in Pakistan faces numerous challenges such as inadequate healthcare infrastructure, financial constraints, and limited access to quality services in rural areas. The public sector, while making substantial efforts to provide healthcare to the underserved populations, often falls short due to inefficiency, underfunding, and lack of resources. On the other hand, the private sector, which has witnessed rapid growth, offers high-quality services but is largely inaccessible to low-income populations. This paper explores the strengths and weaknesses of both sectors through qualitative and quantitative analyses, providing a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape in Pakistan.
