Nutritional deficiencies are one of the leading public health challenges in Pakistan, impacting a large segment of the population, especially vulnerable groups such as children, pregnant women, and the elderly. This paper investigates the prevalence of various nutritional deficiencies in Pakistan, their long-term impacts on public health, and explores current interventions aimed at addressing these issues. The study identifies key nutrients whose deficiencies are widespread in the population, including vitamin A, iron, iodine, and zinc. It further examines the socio-economic, environmental, and healthcare-related factors that contribute to poor nutritional status, offering recommendations for policy interventions, educational programs, and healthcare improvements.
