Abstract

Gender disparities in healthcare access and delivery remain a significant issue in Pakistan, affecting women's health outcomes and overall healthcare equity. This study explores the underlying causes of gender-based healthcare inequalities, focusing on socio-economic, cultural, and institutional factors. Using a mixed-methods approach, we analyze data from various provinces, highlighting key differences in healthcare access and service delivery between men and women. This study aims to inform policymakers and healthcare providers about the barriers faced by women in accessing quality healthcare services and propose strategies to enhance gender equity in healthcare systems.
