Abstract

Health policy and infrastructure play pivotal roles in shaping the effectiveness and accessibility of healthcare systems worldwide. In Pakistan, addressing the disparity between urban and rural healthcare is crucial for improving health outcomes. Despite significant improvements in urban healthcare infrastructure, rural regions face major challenges in terms of accessibility, quality, and the availability of medical resources. This article explores the current health policy landscape in Pakistan, examining the challenges faced in both urban and rural settings. The paper also proposes strategies for improving healthcare infrastructure to ensure equitable healthcare delivery across the country.
